FAQ’s
What if we want something different than the above?
Uniqueness. I love it and it exists for a reason. The above is a starting point. If you know what you want and it is not what I offered tell me about it and we will organise it. Simple :-)
Where does the photo shoot take place?
You tell me! If you have a favourite park or location that you think represents you and your lifestyle best then this is where we will go. However I can also recommend some stunning spots across Sydney if you are looking for inspiration. Alternatively I love to capture families being themselves at home so this a beautiful option as well.
How long does the photo shoot take?
I allow up to two hours however we rarely need this long. If you want to photograph across multiple locations you need to allow for travel in this timeframe. If two hours is exceeded the above additional hourly rate is charged in one hour blocks.
Do you offer prints and how long do I have to order them?
Yes! You have gone the extra mile to use a professional to photograph your clan. Go another mile and get professional prints. You wont regret it. The print lab I use not only deliver outstanding quality prints but canvases and wall mount acrylics too. You can order and decide on these after the session and I simply quote on case-by-case basis. There is no timeframe on when this needs to be done.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, mine is 50% of the agreed total cost. The deposit secures me for your family photography date. The balance is due before delivery of the images.
Is there an agreement to sign?
Yes. It will outline the specific times, date and location of your session. In addition it has terms and conditions that are all pretty straight forward. Really they are just there to make sure we both know where we stand if a cancellation or similar happens.
How long until we get our photos?
Typically you will get your photos within three weeks of your session date. I supply them via an online password protected private gallery. From here you can download and share them to your favourite social media platforms. All images are provided digitally in high resolution print ready format.
How long do you hold onto our photos?
I archive all client photos for 2 years. After that if you lose them unfortunately you are on your own. This is why I cannot stress highly enough that you back them up!
What happens if it rains on our scheduled day?
Well I hate to break it to you but we are probably going to get wet. But there is nothing wrong with this. Some of the best photos of all time have been taken in the rain. So I suggest we just embrace it. However it is always good to have a back up plan which we can discuss if it is really just too wet.
